Influencertified — Terms of Service

1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Influencertified, including our website, creator assessments, account verification services, digital certificates, badges and related features.

Influencertified is operated by the business identified at the end of these Terms, referred to in these Terms as "Influencertified", "we", "us" or "our".

By creating an account, using our services or purchasing a certificate, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, you should not use the service.

2. What Influencertified Provides

Influencertified is an independent creator assessment and recognition platform.

We help creators assess their social media engagement, understand their performance relative to estimated benchmarks and, where they qualify, obtain digital certificates recognising their creator activity or performance.

Our services may include:

  • An Impact Score out of 100.
  • Estimated comparative creator rankings.
  • Social media account ownership verification.
  • Creator performance assessments.
  • Digital certification.
  • Downloadable certificates and badges.
  • Public certificate verification.
  • Creator dashboards and supporting materials.

Influencertified is an independent commercial service. Our certificates are not government qualifications, academic accreditations or endorsements from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, Google or any other social media platform.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase certification through Influencertified.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activities conducted through it.

You must not impersonate another person, falsely claim ownership of a social media profile or submit misleading performance information.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, fraud or security concerns.

4. Social Media Account Verification

Influencertified may require you to verify that you control the social media account associated with an assessment or certificate.

Verification methods may include authorised connections through official social media platform systems or other documented verification procedures.

Submitting a social media profile URL alone does not establish ownership.

Where an official platform connection is available, we may request permission to access relevant account identifiers, profile information, follower counts, content information and engagement metrics.

The information available depends on the platform, the permissions granted and the functionality supported at the time.

You may revoke platform permissions through the relevant platform's account settings. Doing so may affect our ability to reassess or maintain verification of your profile.

We reserve the right to require renewed verification if account ownership becomes uncertain or material account information changes.

5. Impact Scores and Estimated Rankings

Our Impact Score is an assessment generated using our scoring methodology and the information available to us.

Scores may consider engagement, conversation, amplification, posting consistency, audience quality, growth and other relevant factors.

Not every factor will necessarily be available for every creator.

Some assessments may rely partly or entirely on information supplied by the creator.

Where we use creator-reported figures, we will not represent those figures as independently verified platform data.

Comparative rankings, including statements such as "Top 20%", are estimates based on our methodology and available benchmark information. They are not necessarily rankings against every creator on a particular platform.

Scores and rankings may change as information, benchmarks or methodology evolve.

We do not guarantee that an assessment is error-free or that a particular score will result in commercial opportunities.

6. Certification Levels

Influencertified may offer the following certification levels:

Rising Creator

Recognises a creator who has completed an assessment, verified ownership of an eligible active social media profile and satisfied our published introductory certification requirements.

Rising Creator certification does not establish above-average engagement or superior audience performance.

Emerging Impact Creator

Recognises creators who meet the applicable estimated Top 40% performance threshold and other eligibility requirements.

High Impact Creator

Recognises creators who meet the applicable estimated Top 20% performance threshold and other eligibility requirements.

Exceptional Impact Creator

Recognises creators who meet the applicable estimated Top 5% performance threshold and other eligibility requirements.

All certification levels are subject to the applicable verification, assessment and eligibility requirements.

We may decline certification if the relevant requirements cannot be established.

Payment does not guarantee qualification or a particular certification level.

7. Certificate Purchases

Where available, a qualifying creator may purchase a digital certificate package for £39, with the final price and any applicable taxes or charges displayed before payment.

A certificate package may include:

  • A personalised digital certificate.
  • A downloadable PDF.
  • Digital badges and sharing assets.
  • A certificate identification number.
  • A public verification link.
  • A QR code.

The precise contents of your purchase will be shown at checkout.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, certificates are valid for 12 months from their issue date.

Certificates do not renew automatically unless we expressly introduce and obtain your agreement to a separate renewal arrangement.

Payments are processed through our designated payment service provider. We do not need to store your full payment card details to complete a purchase.

8. Digital Delivery and Cancellation Rights

Certificates are digital products supplied electronically.

We aim to make purchased certificates available promptly after successful payment and completion of all required checks.

If you are a UK consumer, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right for online purchases.

For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, that cancellation right may be lost once supply begins only where you have given the required express consent to immediate supply and acknowledged that you will lose the cancellation right.

We will not treat acceptance of these Terms alone as that separate consent and acknowledgement.

Where required, we will present the appropriate choice at checkout and provide confirmation in a durable form.

If the required consent and acknowledgement have not been obtained, your applicable statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected.

If we cannot supply a purchased certificate, please contact info@influencertified.com so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy, including a refund where required by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

9. Accuracy, Fraud and Revocation

You must provide truthful and reasonably accurate information during assessment and verification.

You must not manipulate metrics, submit another person's account, use fabricated engagement figures or otherwise attempt to obtain certification dishonestly.

We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend, correct or revoke a certificate where there is a reasonable basis to conclude that it was issued using materially false information, fraudulent verification or a significant administrative error.

Where practicable and appropriate, we will provide an explanation and an opportunity to respond.

A revoked or expired certificate must not be represented as current and valid.

Revocation does not remove your statutory rights to challenge an incorrect decision or seek a remedy where legally applicable.

10. Certificate Use and Intellectual Property

Influencertified owns or licenses the intellectual property in its website, branding, certificate templates, badges, scoring presentation and other original materials.

While your certificate remains valid, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display and share your certificate and accompanying badge for lawful personal and professional promotional purposes.

You may include your certificate in a portfolio, creator media kit, professional profile or brand pitch.

You must not alter the certification level, issue date, expiry date, verification status or other material details in a way that misleads viewers.

You must not use Influencertified branding to imply a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement that does not exist.

You retain your rights in the original content and information you submit, subject to the permissions reasonably required to operate the service.

11. Public Certificate Verification

Certificates may have a public verification page accessible through a unique URL or QR code.

A public verification page may display information such as:

  • Creator name or public display name.
  • Social platform and profile handle.
  • Certification level.
  • Certificate identifier.
  • Issue and expiry dates.
  • Certificate status.
  • Relevant verification information.

The purpose is to enable third parties to check whether a certificate is authentic and current.

We will explain the public nature of these details before issuing a certificate.

12. Third-Party Platforms

Influencertified may integrate with services provided by TikTok, Meta, Instagram, Google, YouTube, payment processors and other third parties.

Your use of those services is also governed by their applicable terms and privacy notices.

We do not control the availability, policies or technical operation of third-party platforms.

Features dependent on external platforms may change, become unavailable or require renewed authorisation.

We will not claim that a social platform has endorsed or certified a creator merely because the creator connected an account to Influencertified.

13. No Guarantee of Brand Deals or Income

Influencertified certificates are independent recognition products.

We do not guarantee that certification will result in:

  • Sponsorships or brand partnerships.
  • Increased followers or engagement.
  • Employment or commercial opportunities.
  • Higher income.
  • Acceptance by any particular brand or agency.

You remain responsible for how you present your experience, performance and certification to third parties.

14. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may maintain, improve or modify the website, assessment features and certificate delivery systems.

Where changes materially affect a purchased certificate or an existing consumer contract, we will respect applicable legal rights and provide appropriate notice or remedies.

We will not retrospectively change a certificate's stated validity period without a lawful basis.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill where such losses are reasonably foreseeable.

We are not responsible for losses arising solely from inaccurate information you supply, misuse of the service or events outside our reasonable control, except where the law requires otherwise.

We do not exclude liability for failing to provide digital content in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

16. Complaints and Contact

If you have questions, complaints, refund requests or concerns about certification, contact:

info@influencertified.com

Please include sufficient information to identify your account or certificate without sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

We will aim to respond within a reasonable period.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements or business practices.

We will publish the revised Terms with an updated effective date.

Where a change materially affects an existing contractual relationship, we will provide any notice or consent required by law.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

If you are a consumer, you may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
